No ads for you? Nice. But about 000webhost, I suppose they’re being cautious about new registrants because of how people may take advantage of it as a fraud. I hope things work out well for you.

Actually, Hyperwebenable places two random network ads but they haven’t placed any on TheWebdale.com
Also, I have registered for 000webhost.com but haven’t received any confirmation email.
I think many of the new registrants are facing this problem as I read in one of the forums and Vistainter reviews.

Joe, sorry to hear that. Free hosting does sound great but the downside would be its reliability. I know that free service will have its ups and downs, but if you’re willing to backup daily, I guess it’s worth a try. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I just hoped that the inevitable would not have happened, but for years i have been blogging on blogger, and all of a sudden they decided to pull my plug by disabling my account, and all the google services went alongwith it, Till date i regret using a free hosting.

I had to start all over again, but the older i got the wiser i was i always used to backup my blog on blogger.

nevertheless would never look back on free hosting.

If you are planning to monetize your site, would rather get a cheap hosting plan ..it’s good for the long term.. you’ll never know when your free host is going down

Rohit, Oh I haven’t thought of using services like hyperwebenable. May I ask which ads are the ones they require you to have on your site? I can’t seem to tell which one’s which. I’ve looked through, and it seems like a great deal, keep a minimum traffic, get services for free. But I wonder if it’ll be reliable since it says that it’ll be deleted if the site doesn’t meet their minimum requirement. But again, a good way to start clean without any loss…

Just for clarification, 000webhost isn’t mine, and thanks for sharing about your site web hosting as well.

I am using hyperwebenable which provides domain+hosting free but they have ads on blog.
On another side, I am using freehostia.com which is same as ur 000webhost.com
Anyways, I liked ur site layout and thanks for sharing such a service.
