GE to accept funds from Middle East

General Electronics, known as one of the most popular company worldwide, has accepted funds from Middle East. As it left U.S. consumer financing, Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Development Co. has formed an $8 billion venture in order to profit from commercial investements in the Middle East and Africa.

The reason behind this action is that state-owned Mubadala wants to become a top 10 holder in Fairfield, Conn.

Simply in order to raise one’s reputation and ranking, I suppose making such huge investment is necessary. But $8 billion? Why not feed the poor with that much…
