Gang Culture Invades Web

Violence has reached the web and there are some web sites revealing life on the streets of what’s so called as "Killadelphia" stating inappropriately in public: "Bitchass didn’t show up… I know things will go in our favor."

After the incident of Nazir Gary’s death in Philadelphia last year, his co-defendant posted messages via MySpace. Speaking of MySpace, it was originally made for friendly networking, however, is being used abusively in some occasions.

Although its 24 hr help line exists to prevent any abusive, violent or inappropriate material, people have continued to post images of gang signs, drugs, guns and wads of cash.

"Killadelphia" is claimed to be many people’s hometown. Things like this may sound like a joke first few times, but it’s been excessively spread that investigators with police started to take actions.

MySpace says that it works with law enforcement agencies, however, it won’t stop people from filling up gang cultures in the web.

I feel that same is the case with Orkut where a lot of inapproriate content is being hosted in the form of communities & fake profiles…..

htRULZ, this is very unfortunate because such things can’t really be prevented completely in any way.
