Changing Windows XP Taskbar’s Transparency like Vista

transbar.jpg

When you compare Windows XP with Vista, the transparency of the taskbar is one thing that may be attractive.

While Window XP’s taskbar isn’t transparent at all, Vista’s certain level of transparency allows the wallpaper to show along with the taskbar itself simultaneously.

Instead of modifying the actual theme itself for Windows XP, is there any easier way?

Of course!

Looking through my old files, I happened to come across this useful program called TransBar.

It allows you to choose the opacity, the transparency of the taskbar, in few clicks.

As long as the colors of your taskbar and the wallpaper do not contradict too much, this is pretty neat.
