Apple’s New iPad

Apple iPad

Apple finally revealed the tablet! It’s been rumored for such a long time with a debate of whether it would be called iSlate, iTablet and what not, but they finally announced that it would be called iPad.

It’s only a half-inch thick weighing just 1.5 pounds, with a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display. Speaking of processor, it’s running a custom 1GHz Apple “A4″ chip developed by the P.A. Semi team. So how long will the battery last? 10-hour battery life they say, along with a month of standby.
It’ll come in 16gb for $499, 32gb for $599, and 64gb for $699 sizes. Not only that, there will also be an option of adding 3G, which will cost $130 per model
It starts at $499 for 16GB, 32GB for $599, and $699 64GB. Adding 3gb costs a $130 per model, so it can go up to 64 gb costing $829.
Seems pretty cool but it’s quite expensive, isn’t it?
